Seller Comment: This Hydrovac slurry processing plant separates Hydrovac slurry into clean aggregate, fines, and water. The slurry first enters auger bins that gravity separate the water from solids. Solids are then moved by auger and conveyor to a trommel screener that tosses the solid material and washes the fines through screens, leaving a clean, reusable aggregate product. The remaining mud is pumped over a two-shaker system, and then through a de-silter to remove as many fines from the water as possible before reaching the centrifuge. A polymer is then added to the remaining muddy water, helping the centrifuge extract the last fines, which are conveyed to a fines bin. The purified water is collected in tanks for reuse within the facility or in hydrovac trucks.
